& Installation

Our Natural Gas Furnaces are some of the most efficient and quietest heating systems out there. They’re engineered for perfect warmth and savings.

Making an informed decision about whether to upgrade from a working Natural Gas Furnace to a new unit always involves multiple factors. Some are concrete issues of dollars and sense and others are professional opinion. One thing is certain, aging Natural Gas Furnaces tend to fail at the time of peak demand. If you decide that your existing Natural Gas Furnace may require replacement in the near future, it’s better to make an informed choice now rather than a rushed decision during a breakdown or a no heat situation.

An older Natural Gas Furnace may have an AFUE (annualized fuel utilization efficiency) of 76 percent or less. The AFUE represents the percentage of fuel utilized to actually produce heat versus the amount lost in the combustion process. Replacing your older Natural Gas Furnace with a new Lennox high-efficiency Natural Gas Furnace buys you an AFUE of up to 98%. Your new Lennox Furnace will start saving gas and electricity from day one, and it may pay for itself in a reasonable length of time from lowered energy bills.

Natural Gas Furnaces combine an open flame with high temperatures plus the potential to produce deadly carbon monoxide. If you’re nursing a questionable, older unit through another season simply to buy more time before an upgrade that's inevitable, reconsider for the safety of your family.

Beat the Heat!

Air Conditioning to fit your needs.

Even on the most humid days, Lennox Precise Comfort® technology keeps temperatures exactly where you set them, using only the energy that’s needed.

Central Air Conditioners are more efficient than room Air Conditioners. In addition, they are out of the way, quiet, and convenient to operate. To save energy and money, you should try to buy an energy-efficient Air Conditioner and reduce your central Air Conditioner's energy use.

Today's best Air Conditioners use 30% to 50% less energy to produce the same amount of cooling as Air Conditioners made several years ago. Even if your Air Conditioner is only a few years old, you may save 20% to 40% of your cooling energy costs by replacing it with a newer, more efficient model.

Proper sizing and installation are key elements in determining Air Conditioner efficiency. Too large a unit will not adequately remove humidity. Too small a unit will not be able to attain a comfortable temperature on the hottest days. Improper unit location, lack of insulation, and improper duct installation can greatly diminish efficiency.

Air Quality

for your home

Air purification and filtration systems are designed to work with your central heating and cooling system. They improve the air throughout your entire home—not just in individual rooms—without producing ozone, a known lung irritant.

There are several factors to consider when choosing a filtration system, starting with sensitivity to allergens. The more sensitive a person is to allergens, the greater the need for a high-efficiency filtration system.

Allergies and asthma are two health problems that can be helped with clean indoor air. When airborne irritants are removed, allergy and asthma sufferers often find relief from their symptoms. Even healthy people who have never suffered from allergies can benefit from clean air. Dust, smoke and other particles float around in the air, causing your drapes and furniture to gather dust. By removing airborne dust particles, you reduce the amount of exposure your respiratory system has to them.

The efficiency of the air filter should be a top consideration. Efficiency is based on the size of the particles captured by an air filter. The higher the efficiency, the more effective it will be. Look for the filter's MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) number, the industry standard for rating filters based on their performance. Residential filters typically have an MERV range of one to eight. Higher ratings ranging from 10 to 16 indicate more efficient filters. High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) systems use hospital-grade filtration technology with a performance that's equivalent to a MERV 17 filtration efficiency or higher. Higher filter efficiency not only helps clear the air, but it also improves airflow. Generally, the more efficient a filter is, the less airflow reduction there will be.

Not only is the air filter there to help with air quality, it also protects your Heating and Air Conditioning equipment. The air filter will keep blower wheels and motors clean. As well as secondary heat exchangers and evaporator coils. If these items are dirty they can cause motors to overheat and less air flow resulting in less comfort, efficiency and reliability.
